Head Start headed for old city hall

A preschool program is moving from Brush College Elementary School into the old West Salem City Hall building.
Mid-Willamette Valley Community Action Agency’s Head Start program will move into the old city hall building at 1320 Edgewater St. NW this month, said program director Jody Burnham. Students will start Oct. 1.
The preschool program, which serves low-income children and their families, had to move out of Brush College Elementary School due to increasing enrollments there and limited space. The Community Action Head Start program no longer operates out of any elementary schools, Burnham said.
