ONE IN FIVE 10, 11, 12 year olds has a disease response to their 1st experiment with substance use.

I entered this campaign to make some noise about treatment for those addicts/alcoholics we are spending 80k to hold in the prisons.

I want to make abstinence a condition of parole/probation for those we know are ill and transfer those resources, huge numbers, to education in the jr. high and younger population – we must get this information to the child’s peer group.

We have the science to distinguish the diseased from the criminal.

I want to use the science and PLUG THE PIPELINE to prison and welfare where it starts – the 10, 11, 12, 13 yr old starting.

I can speak to this issue with passion and an awareness that is not being heard. Every family in Oregon is touched by this growing epidemic.
